Woodruff Engineering works with national laboratories, fusion energy startups, and advanced R&D teams around the world. Woodruff Engineering is looking for an intern to join our engineering team. We work on cutting-edge projects in fusion energy, power supplies, and advanced magnet systems. This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced R&D environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support design and testing of mechanical and electrical components.
- Help build prototypes and assist in lab testing.
- Contribute to CAD drawings, documentation, or test plans.
- Work with engineers and technicians on real projects.
- Learn by doing—get exposure to tools, software, and problem-solving on the job.
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate or current student in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field).
- Curious, reliable, and excited to learn.
- Basic familiarity with CAD or lab tools is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and willingness to work on a team.
